Dear Taekwondo Community:

I am excited to announce our 2020 U.S. Champions Poomsae Performance Camp on NEW DATE – Saturday & Sunday, September 12th – 13th being held at my do-jang!  Our camp will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and finish on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Sessions and content are listed at the link below.  Please see the additional information, camp schedule, and fee structure at and be sure to register ASAP as we have limited slots!

I am excited to have again have Grandmaster David Turgeon (U.S. National Team Coach & Poomsae IR), Master Ron Southwick (USA Head of Team for World Poomsae Championships) and Dr. Kristi George (2X World Poomsae Medalist) join me to ensure an outstanding and productive camp this year!

Again, this year we will offer a special training session on freestyle poomsae!  Nate Cromwell (World Bronze Medalist -Freestyle) will be assisting!  In addition, we expect several other U.S. National Team members and medalists to attend this year’s camp!  We are all excited to share our knowledge and experience with you!

Please read below for further details about this year’s camp.

Our goal is to continually educate those who are new as well as seasoned practitioners and provide valuable feedback throughout the camp.  Some are still learning the poomsae and looking to develop it to a world class level.  We will be providing details in each poomsae as well as current performance methods to ensure the best scores possible in competition.  Instructors and coaches will gain lots of valuable information to incorporate into their teaching methodology in order to develop more interest and participation within their schools and clubs.

As with our past events, whether you are a competitor, coach, or referee, our camp will be a fantastic educational opportunity and we welcome your attendance and participation!  Our goal is to work with those who compete to further develop their skills, confidence, and presentation.  Coaches will gain further understanding about the best ways to prepare and train your students and athletes to a higher level.  For Referees and Officials, we will continue to give you the most updated information regarding the trends and interpretation of competition rules – which will enable you to be an even better judge as well as improve your knowledge base!

We all understand the time and financial commitment involved by attending this event.  I cannot stress enough the importance of attending THE ENTIRE camp.  From what we have experienced ourselves and from what we have seen from past years camps, is that when you make the commitment to fully immerse yourself over a more extended period of time, the result is MUCH MORE beneficial than a one-day or partial-day experience.  Our camp format allows us quality time to interact and work with you while providing continual and valuable feedback.  This yields a much more enriching experience.  You will literally see positive growth and come away with several excellent strategies to grow and improve your poomsae AND your Taekwondo as a whole if you invest the time and attend the entire camp!

Please call or email me!  I am excited to speak with you and answer questions you may have!  I am confident that you will thoroughly enjoy yourself and significantly increase your confidence, insight, and level of understanding.  Regardless of your role, you will come away with a wealth of knowledge and updated details to build on as you compete, coach or officiate – regionally, nationally, or internationally in the coming year!

Thank you for the opportunity to present and share.  I look forward to seeing you soon!
